Products & Categories
Your catalog is built from categories and products. Organise items into categories first, then add products with names, prices, images, and options. Everything you add here is what customers see on your online store or menu.
Categories first
Categories are the folders that group your products — for example Starters, Mains, Drinks for a restaurant, or product types like T‑shirts, Accessories, or Groceries for retail. Create them from the Categories page: give each one a name, optionally add an image so it stands out on your store or menu, and set the order. You can reorder categories anytime from the same page so they appear in the sequence you want (e.g. appetisers before mains, or bestsellers at the top).
Adding products
Go to Products and click to add a new product. Enter a clear name and, if you like, a description so customers know what they’re ordering. Set the price (or prices in both currencies), and assign the product to a category so it appears in the right section. Adding a main image is strongly recommended — it’s what shows on your store or menu and in the cart. You can also set stock quantity so you know when to reorder, and add barcodes if you use them for inventory or scanning.
Variants (sizes, options)
If a product comes in different options — for example size (Small, Medium, Large) or colour — use variants on the product edit page. You define the variant names and can add a price change per option (e.g. Large +$2). At checkout, customers will see a dropdown or list of these choices and the price updates automatically. That way you don’t need a separate product for every size or colour.
Prices in USD and LBP
You can set product prices in one or both currencies. The app uses a configurable exchange rate so LBP stays in sync with USD when you update it. In Personalisation you then choose whether to show prices in USD, LBP, or both on your store or menu — so you can cater to customers who think in either currency without maintaining two separate catalogs.
Export and backup
From the Products page you can export your product list to PDF or CSV for your records or for use in spreadsheets. If you’re a super admin, the Backup section lets you do a full data export or import. To change the order in which categories appear on your store or menu, use the reorder option from the Categories page — drag and drop them into the order you want.
