Setting Up Your Online Store or Menu

Use YellowPOS’s website builder to create a shop or a QR menu. There’s no coding involved — you pick the layout, add your branding and content, and your public page is ready to share.

Shop vs menu

You choose one of two public layouts. An online shop includes a home page, a catalog view, collections (if you use them), individual product pages, a contact page, and policy pages (shipping, returns) — great for retail or any business that wants a full storefront. A menu is a single, streamlined view where customers browse your categories and products and add items to the cart; it’s ideal for restaurants, cafés, or anyone who wants a quick, focused ordering experience. Whichever you pick, it’s powered by the same products and categories you add in the dashboard, so you only maintain one catalog.

Personalisation

In the app, open Personalisation (you’ll also find some options under Store settings). Here you control how your site looks and behaves: the theme colour (accent used on buttons and highlights), fonts, hero banners (the big images at the top), a slideshow, and extra banner blocks so you can promote offers or new items. For shops, you can turn on an about section with your own text and image, and add your social links (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) so they appear in the footer and customers can follow you.

Prices and policies

You decide whether to show prices in USD, LBP, or both. Many businesses in Lebanon use dual pricing so customers can choose the currency they’re comfortable with. In Personalisation or Store settings you can also add shipping policy and return policy text; these appear on dedicated pages linked from your store footer. Clear policies help customers trust you and reduce support questions, and they’re good for search engines too.

Your public link

Once you’ve set things up, your store or menu gets a public URL based on your business name (e.g. yourbusiness.yellow-pos.com or the main domain with your slug). You can share this link on social media, in emails, or on flyers. From the app you can also generate a QR code that points to this URL — customers scan it with their phone and land on your store or menu to browse and order. The same link works on mobile and desktop, so whether they’re on a laptop or a phone, the experience is consistent.
